There is a reservation charge of £300 for all students which is payable when you reserve the room. The reservation charge is then deposited with a recognised UK government bond deposit protection scheme called mydeposits.co.uk. Please note it is a UK government legal requirement to register all deposits.
At the end of the tenancy, the deposit will be returned to the student after deduction of:
Return of the bond can only be completed by bank transfer to a UK based bank. Where there is no alternative and an international bank transfer is required, there will be a charge of up to £45 deducted from the bond to cover any bank charges.
For international Students:
The rent should be paid in full with cleared funds by 1st July.
Students with UK based guarantors:
For students with UK guarantors, payment is for each term in advance, as follows:
September Term: 40% of annual rent. Cleared funds by 1st August.
January Term: 40% of annual rent. Cleared funds by 1st January.
April Term: 20% of annual rent. Cleared funds by 1st April.
Students without UK based guarantors:
100% of annual rent. Cleared funds by 1st July.
Payment is by Bank transfer with cleared funds to reach us by the dates stated above.
The reservation and allocation of rooms, and the payment of the reservation fee and all advance payments of rent received, are binding contracts between the landlord and tenant.
In the case of a cancellation of a reservation by a tenant, Castle Residential Properties Ltd operates a strict non-refund policy for any monies received from the tenant either as booking fees or as advance payments of rent, including those paid in advance of taking up the tenancy.

Yes, we’ve tried to include as much as we can for your convenience. So the rental price includes all utilities, subject to a fair usage policy; Free High speed WiFi; TV licence for the communal areas; and we’ve also included Council Tax (provided that you sign a CT Exemption form when you arrive).
Yes. We’re happy to provide a handy Bedroom Pack including two pillows, sheet, a duvet & duvet cover and a towel.
