Just 2 miles from Emm Field Villas is Saltaire Village – Designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2001.
Saltaire Wool Mill and industrial village was built on the River Aire in the 19th Century by the Victorian philanthropist Sir Titus Salt to provide a self-contained living space for workers at the Alpaca Wool Mill.
The Mill has now been beautifully converted and includes the 1853 Gallery which houses a collection of the famous Bradford-born artist David Hockney. Other buildings have now been similarly transformed into shops, restaurants and bars.
